Description
Vaseux Lake Provincial Park is on Canada Highway 97, known as the Okanagan Highway, about 35 kilometers north of the Osoyoos, British Columbia/Oroville, Washington, border crossing. Vaseux Lake, which means Muddy Lake in English, is surrounded by rocky bluffs and pine clad hills, and is home to a bird sanctuary and wildlife sanctuary. Mountain goats and big horn sheep roam the park. In early October, autumn colors on the shore and a partly cloudy sky offer an artist's palette. October, 2019.
