Description
The Spokane River jumps and laughs as it rushes through the heart of Spokane on the first day of summer. Passing the north shore of Riverfront Park, the River is split by Canada Island, and dropping as the Upper Falls through rugged granite outcrops on both sides of the Island. This is the south side of Canada Island, with Riverfront Park on the right of the River. A foot bridge crosses the river on the left of the image. Behind the foot bridge is the 1974 Expo Pavilion and the Great Northern Clock Tower.
