Description
Wandering down an alley in Bellingham, Washington while looking for likely shots, I spied a wall. It was just an ordinary brick wall, beginning to chip a bit, and some of the seams had been re-mortared. It was just a wall, but it seemed to be an effective visual metaphor for retaining strength and dignity and purpose despite the passage of time. Perhaps it was just a wall.
