Washington State Route 20, SR 20 - the North Cascades Highway, begins at a junction with US 101 on the Olympic Peninsula, 12 miles southwest of the town of Port Townsend, on Puget Sound. This is my second collection of images from along SR 20. The road travels from US 101, through Port Townsend, by ferry across Puget Sound, up Whidbey and Fidalgo Islands, to the Skagit River Delta and the farm land west of Mt Vernon and Burlington, east following the Skagit River past Concrete and Newhalem, high above Diablo Lake, through Washington Pass and over the mountains, in and out of the western town of Winthrop and down the Methow Valley to Twisp, to the town of Omak in North Central Washington State in this collection. My previous collection is at Washington State Route 20.
