Description
In 1961, St Mary's Indian Residential School, which had been administered by the Roman Catholic Church, was moved downhill from what is now Fraser River Heritage Park to this site. The new school was administered by the federal government until it closed in 1985. The stucco and brick building on the left was the chapel and the brick building on the right was the dormitory. The campus is now a First Nations Reserve used by several Sto:Lo' bands. June, 2023.
