Description
Bellingham and Skagit Railway was an electric excursion train that traveled from Bellingham to Sedro-Woolley and back in the early 20th century. Known as the Trolley that Went to Sea, one section of the B&S tracks ran for four miles across Samish Bay on a wooden trestle. This line of weathered pilings crossing Colony Creek marks where the B&S came ashore at Blanchard. September, 2022.
