Description
Railroad Avenue, on the left, angles northeast from its intersection with Jameson Street, on the right. Railroad Ave is on the rail bed of the northeast leg of the wye of the Fairhaven and Southern (F & S) Railway. The F & S came down from Fairhaven, slanted through Sedro-Wooley and the Sedro Triangle to this intersection, then split, running straight south to Cook's Wharf on the Skagit River and northeast, where Railroad Avenue is now, to the coal mine at Cokedale.
