Description
A path to the Skagit River from Rasar State Park is dappled by late afternoon shadows in February. A sturdy cedar on the right faces a tall oak on the left, framing the path that disappears into a tunnel of green. Rasar State Park rests between the Skagit River and the North Cascades Highway in the forested foothills a few miles west of the town of Concrete.
