Description
February brings rain, sometimes snow to the Columbia River. Dark clouds churn above a gray river, promising more rain on a winter day. The Memaloose Overlook watches US 84 outline the River on the Oregon side. Strong winds storm through the Columbia River Gorge, shaping a lone fir on a bluff above the Columbia. The tiny community of Mosier huddles in bend of the river on the left. Hood River is downriver, beyond the bend. A cold, wet, gray day, waiting for the spring.
