The yellow canoe team prepares to launch in the Sea to Ski race at Riverside Park in Everson. Canoe teams line up in Everson's Riverside Park, waiting for the cyclist member of their relay team to finish the bike leg of the Sea to Ski race. Teams race by ski, snow board, bicycle, canoe, kayak, and running from the top of Mt Baker to the Nooksack River Delta and Bellingham Bay. The race is held on Memorial Day Weekend each year. Canoe teams access the Nooksack River in Everson.
