The Rowena Crest Viewpoint is high on the bluff above the Columbia River, west of The Dalles, on the Oregon side. The Historic Columbia River Highway, also called US Route 30, twists and turns below, winding up to the Viewpoint, and back down on its journey westward. It is February and any snow on the road is gone. February, 2016.
