Tall steel transmission towers, the towers at each end brightly painted orange (or red) and white as a warning for aircraft, those in the middle, steel gray, march up one side of an access road that leads to Bonneville Dam. Tall fir trees parade up the opposite shoulder. The towers and trees line the Washington shore of the Columbia River Gorge. The towers carry clean hydroelectric power from Bonneville. Gray clouds in late July will bring rain soon.
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
