Description
Bronze statues of Seaman, a Newfoundland dog, and Sacagawea, a young Shoshone woman who served as a guide and translator for the Corps of Discovery, stands near the marina at Cascade Locks, on the Oregon shore of the Columbia River. Seaman made the entire journey with Captain Lewis, and returned to live out his days at Lewis' home. Sacagawea carries her baby on her back. March, 2022.
