The White Rock Pier extends south into Semiahmoo Bay, towards the Canada-US border which hides beneath the bay to the right of the image. A dock of weathered cedar planks provides a view of White Rock, BC, climbing the hills above the bay. A small flock of pigeons, watched over by a patient sea gull, eats crumbs provided by friendly visitors. The bit of land in the upper right is where British Columbia meets Washington state.
