Artist's Description

A nice fish restaurant overlooks the Spokane River across the Post Street Bridge from downtown Spokane. At the back of the restaurant's parking lot, a tumble of basalt rocks hang on a cliff above the River. I found this masked bandit (lower left) living among the rocks as I held onto a chain link fence and leaned over the river. Someone had placed food and water dishes for the raccoon kit, a difficult task in view of the out-of-the-way, secluded location.
