Artist's Description
A tall, orange and white transmission tower on the Washington shore of the Columbia River carries electricity from two hydroelectric powerhouses in Bonneville Dam. The dam produces 5 billion kWh of electricity per year, enough to 500,000 homes with clean power each year. Late July brought gray rain clouds to the Columbia River Gorge.
