A sandy beach lines the southern shore of British Columbia's Okanagan Lake at Penticton, BC. The beach is often visited by gulls, such as these California gulls. Waterbirds are common on the waterfront and in the Okanagan Valley flyway. Okanagan Lake is 135 km long and between 4 and 5 km wide. Though frequently stirred by winds, Okanagan Lake is calm on this early October morning. October, 2019.
