The Georgia-Pacific pulp mill operated on the Bellingham waterfront until 2001 when the plant closed. The mill and storage tanks used to make toilet paper were purchased by the city in 2005. Bellingham is now constructing Waypoint Park next to the plant. The mill building is abandoned, windows are missing, doors are boarded and sealed, and the derelict is fenced. February, 2020.
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
