At the northern tip of March's Point, two long piers march out into Padilla Bay. At the end of each pier is a facility for loading and unloading oil on huge tankers. The bridge and masts of a tanker can be seen on the horizon. Guemes Island is in the center of the frame, and the small bump right of center is Hat Island.
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
