Description
A switchback ramp for wheelchairs leads up to the porch of the Hamilton Town Hall and Pioneer Museum. Fred Slipper bought the house in the late 1800s. When Fred and his new wife Gertrude returned from their honeymoon, they were surprised to discover Fred's brother John had moved the house using log rollers and horses to this location, a block or two farther from the Skagit River. The house is now the Town Hall and Museum. April, 2022.
