Each of the flyers and posters fastened to this chain link fence bears the image of a life cut short by suicide and a tribute to and loving memory of those people. The fence had been erected for a construction project in Salem's Riverfront City Park, and participants in the 5k suicide prevention walk used it as a celebration of the lives lost, and statements that they were missed.
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
