Artist's Description

Palouse winter wheat has been harvested, leaving fields of golden stubble, crossed by tractor tracks. Spring wheat has begun to grow in early May on other fields, rising and falling across the rolling hills. Evening shadows creep from hiding places, dragging night behind them.
