The Oregon Coast is often shrouded with clouds and fog and mist in October. Off Ecola Point, the Pacific is steely gray before it crashes timelessly on the rocks beyond the Point. The sky is a lighter shade of gray, but sea and sky merge into one at a disappearing horizon.
