Alderbrook Neighborhood. The green and leafy Alderbrook neighborhood on the east end of Astoria lies in lowlands between US 30, up the hill to the south, and the Columbia River, on the north. Inlets of the Columbia on the east and west become mud flats when the river ebbs at low tide. The Astoria Riverwalk passes the neighborhood on a trestle bridge next to the River. The sky was cloudy in early October, 2107.
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
