A wood sculpture titled Salmon Returning Home, created by Lynn Backus and Boaz Backus, graces the lawn of a condo in Blaine. The sculpture of salmon returning to the place of their birth to spawn a new generation is made of salvaged cedar found in the forests of the North Cascades.
