An old water, rusty and weathered, still stands at the end of Semiahmoo Spit in 2019, over a hundred and thirty years after the canneries were built, a monument to the historic salmon canneries that once occupied the Spit. Blaine and the Peace Arch at the Canada-US border are visible from the catwalk just below the water tank. A hazy, partly cloudy early May sky serves as a backdrop to the water tower.
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
