At the end of Coupeville Wharf, a once red building sits on aging pilings above the waters of Penn Cove. The building faces south and is exposed to wind and salt water that combine to bleach the colorful walls. The entrance to the building, which contains a gift shop, a cafe, and the harbor master's office, is just beyond the light pole that illuminates the end of the wharf.
