Artist's Description
The Spokane River splits at the eastern end of Riverfront Park, a peninsula that extends eastward, upriver, from the downtown core of Spokane. The river is placid as it passes between Riverfront Park and the south shore of the river. At the end of July, 2019, the view from Centennial Trail offers a mirror reflecting a tall pine tree near the Post Street Dam and the Great Northern Clocktower, once part of the Great Northern train yard that was replaced by the park.
