The Thompson Trail journeys from downtown Anacortes, along Fidalgo Bay and past the Fidalgo Bay Aquatic Reserve, on the right in this image, out to the oil refineries on March Point. The trail passes this exhibit of eclectic public art. Anyone can hang just about anything here, including a sign on the left that reads, "mom", a yellow Alaska license plate, and a piece of blue rope. A blue outdoor toilet stands behind the art and conveniently next to the trail, adding to the display of public art. October, 2016.
Welcome to my Vagabond Photography site. Much of my work is shot in Washington state, though I also wander other places in the western US and in southern British Columbia. I hope you enjoy the images of the places, things, and people that are displayed here. Vagabond Photography means seeking interesting, fun, remarkable sights, being a will-o'-the-wisp in search of the unusual, the beautiful, the engaging, and the truly awe inspiring. Perhaps you'd like to join me on my journeys. Welcome to my corner of the world! Welcome to Vagabond Photography, vagabonding (wandering) across the Pacific Northwest.
