Artist's Description

A private dirt road leads into the hills of the North Cascades near Lake Shannon and the small town of Concrete. Travel is barred by a decorated gate bearing the warning "Hosers Only" in bright red. The Urban Dictionary defines a "hoser" as someone who is a loser or idiot, or a person who is stupid and drinks a lot of beer. An intriguing warning. April, 2018.
