Whatcom County is farm country. In autumn, farm country grows pumpkins. Farmers in Whatcom County are serious about growing pumpkins. A standard pallet is 40 inches long, the length of this giant gray pumpkin, and 48 inches wide. This is a very large pumpkin. This shot was taken in late October. The orange siblings are standard size.
