A pleasant day in August is an invitation to take a stroll on the Skagit Riverwalk, beside the gently flowing Skagit River. Ahead is the Division Street Bridge that carries traffic from downtown Mt Vernon to the farmlands to the west. Mt Vernon's tulip tower, an unused chimney from the old Carnation cannery painted like a giant tulip, is at the right edge of the image. 2017.
