Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Gray clouds, heavy with February rain, embrace the sleeping hills of the Columbia River Gorge like a dark down comforter. The Bridge of the Gods carries traffic from Cascade Locks, Oregon on the left to the Washington shore on the right. The Cascade Locks no longer transfer boat traffic up and down the Columbia, but the concrete walls that contained the locks stand in mute testimony to commerce of a bygone day.
