The Cumbres and Toltec Railroad steams out of Chama, New Mexico, and journeys to Antonito, Colorado, and back, from the end of May to mid October. This is the coal yard for the steam engine. It chugs through steep passes and deep canyons, enabling travelers to participate in some of the most beautiful country in the world.
