An old, weathered barn with a newer, white steel roof appears to be on the menu for hungry blackberry bushes. The doors are blocked and blackberry vines are climbing the walls. A green, metal trailer, a farm building behind the barn with a rusted roof, and a large tractor tire next to the barn are also being slowly engulfed by the blackberry vines that are like weeds in Skagit County. Rain clouds are building in mid September, 2018.
