Artist's Description

Admiralty Head Lighthouse. Admiralty Head Lighthouse stands brightly against the fir trees on the southern edge of Ebey's Landing Historical Reserve, eight miles south of Coupeville. The lighthouse is on a bluff overlooking Admiralty Inlet, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and Puget Sound and is adjacent to Fort Casey. This is the second lighthouse on this site. It was built in 1903 and deactivated in 1922. April, 2021.
