The ancient Native American fishing site of Celilo Falls lies beneath the BNSF tracks of the Celilo Bridge, just above center in this image. The Falls were inundated by the construction of The Dalles Dam in 1956. The town of Wishram, pop about 200, is center frame on the Washington shore. August, 2017.
