Description
The Wenatchee River flows down from Lake Wenatchee, its source in the mountains west of Leavenworth. Seven miles east of Leavenworth, the Wenatchee rolls over the Dryden Dam, near the apple packing town of Dryden. The dam diverts water from the river to the historic High Line Canal that carries irrigation water for the orchards that blanket the valley. March, 2022.
