Description
As the Entiat River meets the Columbia, the Entiat deposits sand carried down from the mountains. This sandbar on the Columbia is only a foot or two deep. A small dog wading and the presence of lawn chairs attest to that depth. On three sides of the sandbar, the river bottom slopes to a depth of 50 to 100 feet. Watch your step! September, 2016.
