Artist's Description
A mural of a giant sturgeon decorates a retaining wall that supports the roundabout access to the north end of the Vedder Crossing Bridge. The sturgeon carries deer and fir trees on its back before a setting sun. The mural was painted by First Nation artist Trenton Pierre in 2019. Vedder Bridge spans the Vedder River near Chilliwack, BC. February, 2020.
