Description
The Upper Perry Arch Bridge crosses the Grande Ronde a few miles northwest of La Grande, where it also crosses the Union Pacific tracks. Built in the early 1900s, the historic bridge is one of two concrete arch bridges in eastern Oregon. The Grande Ronde River forms high in the Blue Mountains of northeast Oregon, flows past La Grande, then north and east to join the Snake River. Along its tumbling route, the Grande Ronde is crossed by a number of bridges. August, 2018.
