Description
The P'squosa and Yakama indigenous tribes fished the Icicle River (center, merging with the Wenatchee) and Wenatchee River (flowing from right to left across the image) for hundreds of years before the Europeans arrived. Each year, tribes gathered at this location to trade and fish. The near side of the Wenatchee River in this image is now the Leavenworth Golf Club. May, 2021.
