Artist's Description
The Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway journeys over a series of bridges and through eleven numbered tunnels on the Washington side of the Columbia River from Vancouver though the Tri-Cities and beyond. This is tunnel No. 9 from the Chamberlain Lake Rest Area on a sunny February day, looking east, upriver towards Lyle, a village visible at the top center of the image.
