Description
A gazebo sits in a park-like open area in Newhalem, a community built by and for Seattle City Light for the construction and maintenance of hydroelectric dams and power houses on the Skagit River. The gazebo is constructed of large, oil-filled bushings used in circuit breakers in the switch yard. The structure was inspired by the dome of the Roman Pantheon, a temple to the Roman gods. October, 2017.
