Description
Tall Silos in Town of Concrete. A bundle of tall concrete silos welcome travelers to the City of Concrete. Perspective makes a utility pole, right, appear taller, but the silos on the north side of State Route 20 are about nine stories or close to 100 feet tall. The silos were built by the Superior Portland Cement Plant to make the concrete used to construct the Skagit River Hydroelectric Dams and other public works projects. November, 2021.
