Description
Steelhead Drive was a short road that connected State Route 530 to the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River, a few miles east of Oso, Washington. The tragic Oso Mudslide in 2014 killed 43 men, women, and children of the small Steelhead community. These steel mailboxes, reproductions of the mailboxes that were destroyed by the mudslide, are part of the Oso Slide Memorial that commemorates the lives lost in the slide. March, 2020.
