Description
The Seattle, Lake Shore, and Eastern Railway, which became the Northern Pacific, arrived in the growing town of Sedro on Thanksgiving, 1890. This bridge carried the railroad across the Skagit River. Supporting piers of the abandoned bridge catch driftwood that floats downriver. The track ends on each side of the river. August, 2020.
