Artist's Description

The town of Newhalem on State Route 20 was built by Seattle City light as staff residences and a service center for the construction and maintenance of three hydroelectric dams on the Skagit River, Gorge, Diablo, Ross. Each dam created a reservoir and turbine powered plant to produce electricity for the Seattle area. April, 2022.
