Description
The southbound I-5 bridge over the Stillaguamish River was built in 1933. The bridge carried US 99 in both directions originally. The highway became I-5 in the 1960s. A second bridge to the east was built a short distance east in 1971 to carry northbound traffic. Both bridges are now three lane. The two bridges are four miles east of Arlington. February, 2021.
