Description
Rusty Digester Tanks at Waypoint Park. Rusty, cylindrical digester tanks, used to reduce wood chips to pulp still stand in a row in Bellingham's Waypoint Park. The tanks and other nearby structures and buildings were formerly used by Georgia Pacific to make toilet paper. The industrial area at the port was purchased by Bellingham and is being converted to a unique park. August, 2020.
